Position Title: Personal Lines Account Manager
SUMMARY: Assists in the retention and service of existing accounts while developing and cultivating new business opportunities. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to clients, potential clients, co-workers and company personnel. Supports other office staff as directed. Detail oriented – driven by providing great customer service.
POSITION FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Assists in the Retention of existing business, both in contact with existing insureds and cross sell opportunities.
- Review received policies to verify coverage as requested.
- Orchestrates account reviews.
- Performs special projects at the request of designated clients.
- Maintains a concern for professionalism, timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency staff and company personnel.
- Receives phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes and changes to existing coverage and/or new policies.
- Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited
- Actively solicits increases in limits and/or coverages or rounding out accounts through sales to clients
- Actively seeks referrals from current client base to solicit for new business prospects
- Documents all material conversations/correspondence with insureds and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Position Title: Personal Lines Account Assistant/Billing Specialist

POSITION FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Assists in the Retention of existing business, both in contact with existing insureds and cross sell opportunities.

- Handles billing and late pay procedures.
- Performs special projects/sales initiatives for account advisors.
- Answers phone calls and directs to appropriate team member.
- Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited.
- Actively solicits increases in limits and/or coverages or rounding out accounts through sales to clients.
- Documents all material conversations/correspondence with insureds and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Advisor
SUMMARY: Assists in the retention and service of existing Commercial Lines accounts while developing and cultivating new business opportunities. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to clients, potential clients, co-workers and company personnel. Supports other office staff as directed. Detail oriented – driven by providing great customer service.
POSITION FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Responsible for gathering the information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designated accounts at least sixty days prior to renewal and for delivering renewals and/or binders for accounts, as needed, within 24 hours of receipt.
- Reviews all policies to verify coverage is as requested.
- Performs special projects at the request of designated clients. Binders and/or policy or endorsement requests are to be completed within 24 hours of date quoted to client.
- Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims.
- After reviewing updated client exposure survey information, obtains other renewal information from insured, and completes applications for designated renewal business sixty days before renewal date. Assists Producer(s) as needed.
- Reviews renewals to determine if non-standard policies can be rewritten in a standard program. Prepares rewrite applications for business through companies no longer represented at least 30 days prior to renewal. Secures and submits required renewal underwriting information.
- Receives phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies. Completes changes/requests within 24 hours of receipt. Determines acceptability and placement, completes applications or endorsements, and collects premium when applicable.
- Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited and does so by mail and/or phone prior to renewal.
- Receives and reviews all terminations and cancellations to determine action to be taken, and takes needed action within 72 hours of receipt.
- Handles premium collection through form letters and requests cancellation of policies when necessary.
- Documents all material conversations with insureds and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Position Title: Front Desk
Insurance Services Group is looking for a receptionist to help take care of client inquiries, answer phones, handle mail, and be responsible for Front Desk operations Monday – Friday. We are an active, growing company with a professional team that is focused on doing the right thing for our clients. Our offices are open from 8am to 5pm during the week.
Prior candidates have grown from receptionist into professional careers. There is opportunity for the right person to do this again.
Summary of Position:
Creates a positive first impression on behalf of the agency. Directs clients to the proper person in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Performs clerical duties as assigned. Serves as receptionist and point of first contact for all visitors and callers to the office. Maintains hard account files, including scanning, copying, and purging of files. Provides clerical backup/ support for other staff as needed.
Receptionist duties include:
- Creates a positive, professional first impression of the company
- Answers calls within three rings
- Serves as first point of contact for all office visitors in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
- Directs clients to the proper person in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
- Distribution of mail, fax, email, scans, documents, etc., to proper personnel
- Directs client inquiries to the appropriate person(s)
- Continually checks back with callers on hold to ask if they prefer to hold, leave a message, or be transferred to someone else who can help.
- Handles all incoming and outgoing Fax messages.
- Prepares all UPS, Certified and Overnight mailings for same-day pickup/drop-off
- Responsible for using correct postage amount and advises accounting when funds need to be replenished
- Helps track new business/prospects by gathering initial, pertinent information
- Performs additional functions as assigned by management.

- Possesses excellent time management skills
- Portrays a neat and professional appearance
- Demonstrates effective telephone etiquette and can handle high call volumes
- Is friendly, well organized, and enjoys working with people
- Possesses excellent knowledge of alphabetical and numeric sequencing, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Possesses the ability to use computer programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Internet Applications, client management system.
Other Requirements:
Prior experience in customer service, working with others, and maintaining a professional appearance is a must. Experience and knowledge in the insurance industry will be highly considered and compensation will be reflective of experience.
