SEATTLE, Wash. – Students across the Pacific Northwest are preparing for the next step in their lives and Grange Insurance wants to help. This fall, our carrier partners at Grange plan to award 22 academic and 3 vocational scholarships to students attending an accredited institution for higher education.
If you are a current Grange Insurance policy holder or are the dependent of a Grange Insurance policy holder you are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Top winners will receive $2,500 and remaining scholarships recipients will receive $1,000 to $2, 000 each.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is coming up fast. All applications must be postmarked no later than March 1st, 2016 and need to include the following:
- Completed Scholarship Application
- Current, official transcript
- An essay in which you describe yourself, your family, your experience in leadership or volunteering, and your future goals. Also include details about the college, university, or trade school you plan to attend and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
Recipients will be notified in mid-April and scholarship money will be available by September 2016.
