We are an independent insurance agency that places business with different insurance companies for the benefit of our clients. The transfer of private information between ourselves, our clients, and the companies we work with is a normal and necessary part of business. State and Federal Laws require that we inform you of our privacy policy.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

We have policies and procedures in place to safeguard the personal information that you entrust to us. Your personal information, including the data contained in our computers, is protected from unauthorized access. Its use is restricted to employees and others with a business need for the information. While we have appropriate standards in place for safeguarding your private information and we make efforts to maintain them, we cannot guarantee those standards. There may be factors beyond our control that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, we disclaim any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of data.

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

The personal information that we collect from you and about you is used to provide and service the insurance products for which we act as an agent or broker. The information obtained depends on whether you are an insured or a prospective insured, and the particular insurance product that you have purchased or are considering. Although this is not an all-inclusive list, examples of information collected include: your full name, address, telephone number(s), your health, financial, credit and driving history.

The information may be obtained through interviews, applications or claim forms, or it may be obtained from other sources such as medical forms, underwriting reports, website usage, credit reporting agencies or other sources. It is necessary that we maintain this type of information to service and maintain your policies.

SAFEGUARDING YOUR INFORMATION

We share your concern about the privacy of your information. We assure you that we do not sell, rent, or give away your personally identifiable information to anyone for marketing purposes, or any other reason. We will only use and share your personally identifiable information for insurance underwriting purposes, to service your policy or claim, and for other purposes required or permitted by law.

WHEN WE MAY DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We respect the confidentiality of your personal information. However, there are circumstances in which we may disclose to third parties information about you that we use to conduct our business, including servicing an insurance product, claim, or service that you request or authorize. We will make these disclosures only when they are permitted or required by law. These disclosures may include providing information in response to a request by regulatory or governmental authorities, other administrators, auditors or consultants. We may also provide underwriting data containing your personal information as necessary to administer and service your existing policy or policies that you may be considering.

We do not sell, rent, or disclose any of your personal information, regardless whether you are a current or former client. In other words, should your relationship with us end, we will continue to limit disclosures of your personal information in accordance with our stated privacy policy and practices just as we do for those who maintain a continuing relationship with us.

From time to time we may make changes to this Policy. When a change occurs, the date at the bottom of the page will be updated.
